Many adults and children have what is called malocclusion.  This is the misalignment of teeth and/or the incorrect relationship between the upper and lower arches.  In order to correct this, orthodontics is needed to move the teeth into their proper position.

Our orthodontist is here to help you achieve this.  We accept insurance, Medicaid and private pay for orthodontic treatment.  Patients with Medicaid are eligible from ages 12-21.  For our patients who have insurance or are paying out of pocket, we offer a convenient payment plan to fit your budget.

The American Association of Orthodontics say that about 75% of the population could benefit from orthodontics.  Crooked teeth not only affects your self esteem, but it also has an effect on whether or not you can achieve proper oral hygiene.  Teeth that are crowded are harder to keep clean and almost impossible to floss properly.  This leads to tooth decay and other serious dental problems.  Having your teeth aligned correctly with orthodontics not only gives a positive attitude towards appearance, but also improves the ability to keep and maintain proper oral hygiene.

Come see our expanded and updated orthodontic office!  Our state of the art equipment will accommodate patients comfortably as they make their way towards a beautiful smile!  Don't forget to call today at 972-28-ORTHO.

It is very important to maintain proper oral hygiene while you are in braces.  Food gets trapped very easily in the brackets and must be removed.  Along with brushing and flossing daily, you must see your dental hygienist every 6 months.
